Elina Amromina is an opera stage director, filmmaker, award-winning actress and singer with an extensive background in both theatre and cinema. Graduating with honours as an Opera Stage Director from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory, she has built a diverse international career spanning live stage productions, film, and cutting-edge AI artistry.

Elina has staged productions for renowned opera houses and open-air festivals. Her experience includes working as a stage director and assistant director at the Wiener Staatsoper, the State Hermitage Theatre, Ethos Auditorium and international opera festivals.

Among her productions are: Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini) — an innovative holographic AI production for the Haifa Symphony; L'Elisir d'Amore (Donizetti) and The Queen of Spades (Tchaikovsky) — for the international open-air festival “All Together Opera” (both broadcast live on TV); The Demon (Rubinstein) — at the Hermitage Concert Atrium (broadcast live on TV); Don Pasquale (Donizetti) — for the State Hermitage Theatre; Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky); Prima la musica e poi le parole (Salieri) — based on her own poetic translation of the libretto — and others.

As a filmmaker, Elina works across multiple disciplines — as a director, actress, production manager and post-production supervisor.

She started her cinema career as co-director, production manager and actress with the short film “The Way Out” (68th Cannes Film Festival, SFC 2015), not only playing the main role but also providing the singing voice for her character. The film won multiple awards across the USA, Germany and Israel.

Her other notable projects include “The Lady in Red”, the feature film “The Other Side of Fiction” (co-director and actress) and an opera film project made in cooperation with the Haifa Symphony Orchestra — “The Opera Affair”.

Elina received the Monica Vitti Award for Best Actress at the Blow-Up International Arthouse Film Festival (Chicago, USA), Platinum Winner for Actress in a Leading Role at the International Independent Film Awards (USA), and Best Actress at the Reflections of Spirit International Festival (Germany).

Beyond opera and film, Elina works on music videos and as an AI creator.
